The scene was sullon the forgotten plains below seemed to flutter with life as a creature who hadn't set shadow in many moons flew overhead. The shadow plagued the earth in a untainted figure that couldn't possibly be guessed if one looked from the sides instead of upward were it was birthed. Every so often a breath of fresh wind would burst from the body as the wings made the effort to stroke up and down, keeping what would seem an impossible weight up within the sky. Had one looked upon the body right within the moment they would catch a climpse of the beast when the clouds covered the bright shining sun. But if in that instant, the sight could be one to behold. Saphire in coloring she seemed nearly white from the top, and almost dark blue upon the bottom were it was untouched by the glaring sun. Scales glittered brightly, giving off a bright ray of rambow blue across the ground.
As in a glide, she curled her wings together for one last stroke before they curved inward angleing her body to the earth and gliding down to the plains below. Her landing was that of grace, no cloud of dust came out of place when her claws dug out into the soft ground beneath the pads of her feet. Great wings were soon folded against the body, resting comfortably against the sids of her belly, though the elbow still arched upward about a foot or two taller then her back. The other elbow closer to the ends of her wings, touching upon the earth, used as if they to were an extra pair of hands or feet. A single claw poked from each wing, a type of thumb if one was to explain it. She soon picked up a slow wattling walk. Stride for stride one would know instantly that this was a creature of the sky, not one that dwelled alot upon the ground as most wingless creatures do. It made the extra thumbs quiet handy when it came to walking upon the earth, not that it was the main reason that kept her so. But the balance equelled out and the weight was able to keep stride, never faulting in step.
Her nearly white eyes looked ahead, paying no attention to what was on the sides or what lay behind her. But that didn't rightly mean that she had no idea what went on around her, her attention was just forward and striaght ahead. It appeared to be a village, she knew not how many two legged creatures dwelled within, and really it was just the plain curiousty of a young creature who had never seen on in her life. Though well within her early Hundred years, Gia was quiet young for her species. Sure she had seen alot of things change in her years, but nothing really ever stayed the same for long, right? Gia had to have this thirst quenched, she had heard so much about two leggers, so many good and bad rumors, naturally she just had to see for herself. And as luck would have it she happened to see the village with her eagle like gaze as she was flying overhead.
Moving closer to a ledge Gai finaly paused in her movements and gazed below at the scene before her, eyes searched earnestly for tell of these other creatures, where were they, what do they look like. Would she notice what she was seein when she see's it. Stomach gurgled causing the she-dragon to burp lightly though her mouth never opened, it just seemed to vibrate from her neck. She was hungery again, she had only eaten last week and normaly she could go a month but she was soon to hit a growth spurt. And growing kids need lots of food, Already the size of a school bus, Gai still had a lot of body to fill out and lots of growth to withhold. Soft purr soon began to grow as the she-dragon began humming to herself, eyes never leaving the setting below her.
Her first glimpse of the human race was none to impressive, she found them small and helpless, as she watched what most people already knew to be a infant child. Gai on the other hand had no idea what to expect from these things, she eye'd the child and wondered how all these great tales could possibly be true from such a creature like that. It wasn't long before her impression was changed when the first glimpse of a human was soon changed to that of a larger creature, much larger then the child. It all fit together then, and now she just wondered how they could do the things they were talked so much about. Even looking upon a adult she still couldn't fathem the wonder and power they all seemed to possess. Stomach girgled once more only this time a puff of smut released from her nostrils, jaw's opened up slightly to release a larger stream of smut that blew away as if it were smoke. She didn't breath fire just yet, that was saved for the two hundred year olds, but she was rather good at blowing smoke, and smut. And if she was caught on a good day she could actually start a small camp fire. But only if she concintrated hard enough, and that usually ended up with a very heavy headache and nonstop sleep for days.
Her next thought wasn't anymore curiousity of the humans, it was now how tasty could they be. She wondered how much power such a creature would have if attacked by one of her size and nature. Snorting another puff of smut, Gai took a step closer but paused once again. Watching, Waiting, But for what? The two creatures soon turned into many more and in numbers she watched in awe as they went about there daily activities, some to the fields, some working skins, others doing what she couldn't explain. Like ants everybody seemed to have a job, and everybody seemed to do it with extreme vigor. It was so foriegn yet so addicting, she just couldn't look away. But soon the rumbling in her belly forced her to advert her gaze and look upon her surroundings, naturally upon her landing, and upon looking at her all the prey animals had fled. Seeing Jorgia for what she was, something that was bigger, something that was to be feared.
Sight and Sound soon gained the attention of the Dragon when the loud bugle of the two leggers herd animals were brought out of there housing and taken to the fields. Now that was something she could work with, just the right size to cure her hunger and the cattle were not that different then the wild oxen she usually hunted back in her territory that she left. Muscle stretched and great wings soon took the angle of skyward, as her weight shifted and hind legs dug deeply into the earth. Body found hieght and once again she was within the air, more strokes were needed at a faster and more painfull speed. But she had the hieght now and soon found the thermal, now she could glide gently against the warm air and look upon the earth below her, she sorted out the herd, watching the two leggers with keen interest though not enough to change her attack. The largest of the herd of cattle soon caught her glance, it was a black bull that was well within his age and apparent a great herd sire, enough so to have his young frolic all about him and their mothers.
Body soon found its place and Jorgia plummeted to the earth in a fine frenzy of a beast who couldn't be distracted now, soon the earth barreled toward the she-dragon till there was no more space left. She hit hard her hind legs touched earth, and her front daggers dug into the flesh of her prey, Neck whipped around as the great jowls curved around the arch of a pulsing neck. Her tail swong around and almost serpent like her body twisted and turned around the dark body. It seemed an impossible task considering the wings, but in such instances only a dragon would know how to manuver and work them to keep them from getting shredded or torn. Tail tightened around the barrel of the creature Die swiftly sweet friend her mind force reached out, a pray she gives to all her prey upon there coming deaths. Glitting saphire red eyes now looked upon the twoleggers that manded the beasts, curious as to what they would do but not really worried at what they could do. She watched them as the body still struggled beneath her, though its life force growing lighter and lighter till it would be no more. She didn't feed just yet, she would let the prey die first and instead let this closer few of the humans go on. She half expected them to run, but the look in there eyes showed as much to curiousity on her as much as her on them. Or maybe that had a protecter that they were just waiting for it to come and save them from this new threat. By her senses, had they only known this creature she had claimed as her soon meal was to die within the night without her help anyway, But she wasn't sure if they had the same sense as her or something different. Steps were taken closer on there part, maybe unknowing, she didn't understant exactly, Why do you stare She asked them curiously threw mind speech, it was the only way she knew how honestly, as a dragon she could choose to speak to a whole crowd threw there minds, or just a single person in the middle of million, at this moment she said it to all who had gathered around after hearing the comotion and seen the great sized beast fall from the sky. None seemed all that thrawled by what she had landed on, she wondered to if they even noticed.
Snorting out another puff of smut which could threaten fire to those that didn't know she huffed at them, causing there steps to go backwards again, she may be curious and unafraid, but she wasn't foolish enough to let her gaurd down. It was a unknown race to her, therefor they were as unpredictable to her as she definately was to them. So far she had made no real threat towards a two legged human beast, just an old bull who happened to be owned by them. None could say exactly what could soon result if they lost there fasination. Just how powerful could these creatures be, and would there be one that would cause her destiny to unfold and finaly come alive? she didn't feel the draw, but she wasn't exactly looking for it either,
